Sandra Lee is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Financial Stability Oversight Council at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The FSOC is charged with identifying risks to the financial stability of the United States; promoting market discipline; and responding to emerging threats to the stability of the U.S. financial system. The FSOC is chaired by the Secretary of the Treasury and consists of 10 voting members and 5 nonvoting members, bringing together the expertise of federal and state financial regulators. Sandra began her career in private practice and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael Chertoff for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Sandra received her bachelor’s degree from Yale University and her law degree from New York University School of Law.
