Jonathan Fink is Associate Chief Counsel and is currently acting as Director, Bank Advisory at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
As Associate Chief Counsel, Mr. Fink provides guidance and legal assistance to OCC management with respect to complex issues of national significance and undertakes special assignments for the Senior Deputy Comptroller & Chief Counsel. He assumed this position in August 2022. As Acting Director, Bank Advisory from April 2024, Mr. Fink supervises work on a broad range of activities and corporate structures; consumer matters; the development and drafting of regulations; analysis and drafting of legislative initiatives of importance to the federal banking system; and analysis and advice pertaining to the federal preemption of state law, emerging risks, the regulatory capital requirements that apply to national banks, innovation including digitalization, and the OCC's oversight of federal branches and agencies of foreign banks.
