James Mitcheson

Jamie Mitcheson is the Executive Vice President, Chief Architect for Enterprise Technology & Security Services for Citizens Financial Group.

Jamie’s responsibilities include technology strategy, innovation, enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, platform engineering and has CIO responsibilities for the HR and Legal Technology functions. Jamie is also responsible for the education and learning academies and badging program for the technology organization.

Citizens is one of the nation's oldest and largest financial institutions and offers a broad range of retail and commercial banking products and services to individuals, small businesses, middle-market companies, large corporations, and institutions.

Prior to joining Citizens, Jamie held technology leadership roles at CVS Health and State Street Corporation. Jamie has Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from UMass Amherst and a MBA from Babson College.
