Chris D’Angelo serves as the Chief Deputy Attorney General for Economic Justice at the New York Attorney General’s Office. He leads five litigation bureaus, including Antitrust, Internet and Technology, Consumer Frauds, Investor Protection, and Taxpayer Protection. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s office, Chris spent nearly eight years helping to build the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Most recently, he served as the CFPB’s Associate Director for Supervision, Enforcement and Fair Lending, leading the CFPB’s supervisory and enforcement oversight of the largest financial institutions in the country. Chris also served as the CFPB’s chief of staff and as a senior advisor to the Director.
