Mr. Chowdhury is the Head of O&T Innovation and Strategy for The Clearing House and a key partner for the firm’s Product Development and Strategy organization, responsible for working closely with the Product team, beginning with ideation and carrying through to technology estimation and project initiation.
Mr. Chowdhury and his team provide Business Architecture, Road-Mapping, and support to The Clearing House product partners for POCs as they consider external partnerships, business acquisitions and innovative new use cases for the firm’s platforms. He is a driving force behind the Strategic Infrastructure for Payments program as The Clearing House continues to analyze and evolve its long-term objectives with this program. Working with the Head of Application Development and the Head of Enterprise and Solution Architecture, Mr. Chowdhury reviews and recommends approach, direction, and provides input to decisions regarding the program planning and execution.
Prior to joining The Clearing House, Mr. Chowdhury was the Chief Architect of the Technology Group and Head of the Enterprise Architecture & Design function for Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In that role, he was responsible for technology strategy and solution design, including guidance for investments in innovation and key opportunities to retire technical debt. Prior to joining the NY Fed, Mr. Chowdhury held leadership positions managing global enterprise architecture and consulting teams for Oracle, Thomson, Qlik, and D&B, and has extensive experience in financial services and digital product management. He received a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University.
